いつつのこころのカード

I'm a first grader. I learn a lot of Hiragana. When I started coming to school in April, our Principal asked, "What do you put into your satchel?" My classmates answered, "I put books," "I put notes," and many other things. Our principal said to us, "Not just those things, you should also put your HEART into it." There are 5 HEART cards: A, B, C, D, and E. A: Greet people when you see them. B: Treasure your life and others. C: Exercise your body and your mind. D: Keep a smile on your face. E: Think how other people feel. Then, Principal put these five HEART cards into his satchel. Principal put it on his back, put a yellow hat on, and started walking. Everybody laughed at his funny, child-like outfit. I thought it was funny too. Every morning, I carry my satchel and go to school cheerfully with my friends. With that heart, I'll try as best as I can.
